The Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer in 1 litre size is designed for larger properties and extensive areas of woody weed infestation. This generous bottle provides substantial coverage for tackling significant bramble patches, multiple tree stumps or widespread brushwood problems across fields, paddocks and neglected land. This professional-grade selective weedkiller contains Triclopyr, which delivers exceptional control of woody plants and is widely used for brush control in rights of way and defoliation of wooded areas. It effectively eliminates brambles, nettles, dock, hardwood saplings and tree stumps whilst leaving grass completely unharmed, making it perfect for reclaiming overgrown pastures and boundaries. For best results, apply from May to October when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. Woody weeds respond optimally to treatment between June and August. Tree stumps should be treated in Autumn or Winter, avoiding the sap-rising period from April through June. Allow at least six weeks between application and any replanting.
