This particular box has been manufactured with the barn owl in mind, it is secure, has the correct amount of room available and incorporates design features dictated by many organisations, including the barn owl trust. The box is crafted from the Best Marine grade ply available and has been weatherproofed. A backplate has been secured to the box to ensure you can easily secure the nest box to a tree that is uneven, there are also convenient large holes on the top to ensure you can haul it up a tree with rope if that makes it easier for you. The back of the nest box is fully strengthened with extra battens for long life.
