Aquamat high-quality capillary matting transports water quickly and evenly over flat level surfaces allowing a large number of plants to be very easily watered at the same time, creating a good humid atmosphere. Used by landscapers, garden centres and domestic users in greenhouses and indoors. Simply place the matting at the bottom of a garden tray and place your plant pots or seed trays on top. Water the matting until it is thoroughly soaked and the plants will take up water through the drainage holes in the bottom of the pots as they need it. Made from 14 finely spaced layers each acting as a reservoir resulting in constant and uniform water displacement throughout the whole area. Aquamat has been developed at one of Britain's leading flower research and development centres, ensuring the Constant pF and optimum thickness. Capillary rise is strong and uniform so that no dry spots occur. Water is supplied to the plant constantly even on gentle sloping or uneven benching. Aquamat shrinks slightly when dry, expanding again when wet giving a constant performance.
